The online shopping experience at Quark’s is second to none. The sandals were shipped promptly and I was kept abreast of the progress of the parcel. The four stars for the sandals is based on the fact that the second strap is neither leather nor at least made of a fabric that is capable of stretching. As I had to size up (Josef Seibel shoes seem shorter than other brands), it was difficult to get a snug fit on both feet. The height and cork bed are pluses. Also, as my feet were adjusting to the sandals, my toes on the foot that was difficult to tighten suffered blisters after a long walk. However, the leather has now softened, but I am still left with slippage as I walk. Hopefully, the manufacturer rectifies the strap issue in future reiterations.
