Blue/Amaretto Lace Up

Bought these as a gift for my husband when he started his new job. His office was a ten minute walk downtown. By the second month of owning them the faux leather toe had started to peel and soon became an utter tattered mess. Prior, he had Riekers that he wore for years every day and the faux leather lasted even after the heel was too worn to continue with them. These were the replacement but they do not last, they are cheaply made. I contacted Rieker to express my distate at fast fashion, disposable shoemaking. They said there was nothing they could do. Because of their response and the low quality shoe I won't buy this style again. Clark's for life.
